Appearance: ruby with tile-red hints.
Nose: fresh and elegant of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry and cherry), spicy notes (pepper): a very typical Pinot Noir.
Palate: supple, rich with fresh red fruits and well-matured tannins.
Pairing suggestions: Burgundy snails, meat and vegetable stew, roasted farm-raised chicken, tripe in tomato sauce, black pudding with mashed potatoes, filet mignon of pork with Maroilles cheese, rabbit cooked in beer, chicken paupiettes, Auvergne-style hotpot, chicken tagine, grilled red mullet fillets, Loire pike-perch à l’Angevine, or cheeses like Saint Nectaire, Epoisse, or Mimolette.
