The authentic Muscadet
Born during the 2003 heat wave, this cuvée was made to break the codes and to brighten up the Muscadet appellation. The wine would had been package in a “bordelaise” bottle to change of the traditional “Muscadet sur lie” bottle. This cuvée take its freshness from its extended ageing on lees.
Tasting notes
Its limpid, brilliant with gold tints robe emphasize a complex nose with a pear, quince, and pineapple bouquet. The mouth is round and rich on the pineapple.
Food pairing
Ageing on the lees for a year, this Muscadet gets its characteristic freshness. It would be great on warm oysters or raw fishes. For the aperitif or pairing with goat cheese or even Japanese food.
